Units of the North group of forces repelled six attacks in a new direction in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to break through the border.
"With the support of army aviation and artillery fire, six enemy attempts to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of the settlements of Novy Put, Veseloe and Medvezhye were repulsed," the Defense Ministry said in a summary.
It is noted that the enemy lost up to 60 people killed and wounded in this direction, three tanks, an armored personnel carrier and five armored combat vehicles.

As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 25 people killed and wounded, an armored personnel carrier and two armored combat vehicles were destroyed.
Five servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered, the Defense Ministry said.
