Appearance in Georgia of Russian companies, as well as other foreign business, is approved, said Georgian Dream Secretary General and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, commenting on the launch of Ozon sales in the country.
Georgia welcomes the opening of any foreign business, enterprises from Russia is no exception, he noted.
"Georgia's doors are open to tourists, as well as business. Any person, company, including the Russian one, which is not under sanctions, can enter the country, do business, employ people. I don't see any problems in this regard," Kaladze said.
As EADaily reported, Ozon published a press release on September 10 about the start of sales in Georgia. It is reported that "residents of the republic can already buy more than 50 million products of various categories on the marketplace — from electronics to beauty and health products." Delivery at the first stage will take about 14 days, and buyers will be able to receive the order near the house at the pick-up points of partner orders, or by courier delivery.
