Swiss politician Sania Ameti fired a pistol clip at a painting depicting the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus.
She shared the corresponding video on Instagram*, however, then deleted the dubious footage. At first, the political officer tried to explain that she was just conducting a "shooting training", and she needed a "characteristic and well-visible object" that could be shot at from 10 meters. After a wave of criticism and accusations of insulting the feelings of believers, the atheist wrote on her microblog:
"I apologize to those who were offended by my post. I deleted it immediately when I realized that it had religious content. I didn't think about it. I'm really sorry."
Ameti is a member of the political movement "Operation Libero", which opposes the nation-state, but promotes multiculturalism, as well as sodomite sexual relations.
