"The fire at the military airfield is on the third number," the ministry said in a statement.

On the night of August 9, Lipetsk came under a "massive attack" by drones, regional Governor Igor Artamonov said earlier.

Evacuation of four settlements near Lipetsk was announced: Koptsevo farms, Fedorovka, Yakovlevka, Tynkovka. Temporary accommodation and transport facilities have been prepared for residents.
At the same time, some residents decided not to leave their homes and take refuge in basements, Artamonov said. He pointed out that in the settlements that decided to evacuate, posts will be set up to protect the homes and property of residents.
