On the territory of The EU has begun blocking payments from Ukrainian companies located in the Kiev-controlled areas of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. This is reported by the telegram channel "Strana" with reference to the official message of the Ukrainian National Bank.
The letter specifically clarifies that European banks do not understand exactly where the business is located. Entrepreneurs are simply "deployed" without any discrimination.
No official explanation has yet been received from the EU, and the National Bank has hypothesized that the companies have not passed the financial monitoring procedure.
"According to the National Bank, non-fulfillment of payment may be due to sanctions restrictions, as well as the requirements of international standards and national legislation of other countries on financial monitoring, risk management, etc. We believe that such de-risking by foreign banks in relation to Ukrainian business entities is not justified," the Ukrainian regulator informed.
The National Bank also pointed out the fact that the entire Ukrainian economy as a whole suffers from such actions of European partners.
