Russian troops managed to capture the town of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region after three and a half months of intense fighting.
Julian Repke, a military analyst at the Bild newspaper, wrote about this on the social network X (former Twitter), publishing the corresponding map.
"The Russian invasion army has captured all relevant parts of the city of Krasnohorivka (formerly with a population of 16,000 inhabitants) in the Donetsk region. The offensive began on April 15 with the revival of the widely discussed "turtle tanks," the journalist wrote.
Earlier, the fact that Krasnogorovka was almost completely liberated was reported by Russian public. However, there has been no official confirmation from the Russian Defense Ministry so far. Formally, the city has not yet been completely liberated.
Kiev also did not confirm the loss of the city. It follows from Ukrainian sources that the northern part of the city is still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the military command of the Kiev regime is unable to stabilize the front in the Pokrovsky direction, despite the introduction of new reserves into battle.
