The Ukrainian military command has not yet managed to stabilize the front in the Pokrovsky direction. Russian troops continue to advance, destroying the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As blogger and military commentator Yuri Podolyaka writes in his review on the morning of July 26, units of the Russian 15th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, after breaking through the enemy's defenses in the area of the villages of Progress and Volchye, developed their success.

Continuing to drive a wedge into the enemy's defenses along the railway line and on the flanks, our military managed to advance more than 2 km and actually reached the outskirts of the settlements of Veseloe and Ivanovka. And they have about 2 km to go to the Desired one.

The expert notes that as a result of this breakthrough, a deep coverage of the enemy's defense line on the Volchya River was carried out. At the same time, the Russian fighters managed to enter the rear of the main support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located northeast of Zhelannoye, which is the key to its defense at this turn.

The situation of the Ukrainian troops in this sector is further aggravated as our offensive is successfully developing slightly to the north in the direction of Kamyshevka — Zavetnoye.

Here, the units of the 31st Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were actually in an operational environment. And if they don't move away soon, then the environment may become physical.
