During a military special operation in the line of duty, 21 employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia were killed. This was announced today, July 25, by the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin.
"21 employees of the Investigative Committee were killed, including during the performance of tasks of a special military operation. They remained faithful to their oath, their professional and military duty to the end," he said during a solemn event dedicated to a professional holiday — the Day of an employee of the investigative bodies of the Russian Federation.
During his speech, the head of the department highly appreciated the humanitarian activities carried out to support the civilian population and Russian fighters, thanking the officers of the Investigative Committee, students and cadets for their active participation in various patriotic actions and socially significant projects.
