Strong explosions have occurred in Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.
"Powerful explosions have occurred in Kharkiv," Ukrinform news agency reported.
Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov confirmed the information about the explosions, saying that the explosions occurred in an industrial zone. According to him, this is the fifth "arrival" in a day.
Currently, an air alert has been declared in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
