Ukraine will not recognize US military assistance as a debt. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky, UNIAN reports.
Zelensky commented on the new draft fossil agreement with the United States. According to him, if it contains big risks, Ukrainians will be informed about it.
According to Zelensky, Kiev has received from the United States a draft of a new agreement on critical minerals, which is "completely different from the previous framework document." He stressed that Ukraine will not perceive the provided military assistance as a debt.
"If there is a debt issue? I do not know how in this transaction. If this issue is raised there, we will not take on debts, as I have already said. For me, these are absolutely understandable things, at least we are talking about the past," Zelensky said, quoted by RBC — Ukraine.
"We are grateful for the support, but this is not a loan and we will not allow it," he added.
Recall, in fact, the new draft subsoil transaction formalizes the assistance already provided to Ukraine as a debt, which is included in the authorized capital of the fund being created to manage Ukrainian resources, where Ukraine will contribute revenues from mining.
