Shevchenko District Court in Kiev has instructed the law enforcers to launch a criminal procedure against President Petro Poroshenko, lawyer, former deputy prosecutor general Renat Kuzmin has posted in Facebook.
According to him, the matter concerns bribes in the case connected with shale gas production by UkrGasVydobuvannya and high treason in financing another state via his Roshen factory in Russia.
“The investigators are to find out whether the president organized this criminal unit by himself or his ‘lovely friends’ did it for him while he knew nothing,” Kuzmin posted.
He added this was the tenth criminal suit against the Ukrainian leader. According to Kuzmin, previously, courts ordered to conduct several investigations on the basis of his appeals.
