The director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has been deported from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija on March 26. On the same day, he was arrested in Kosovska Mitrovica while participating in a round-table discussion on the future of Kosovo and Metohija.
According to RTS television, Marko Djuric was delivered to Pristina after the arrest where he was found guilty in an administrative offence and deported to central Serbia through the Merdare checkpoint.
During the arrest, the “police” of the separatist Kosovo clashed with the participants of the discussion. The “police” used tear-gas.
After the report on Djuric’s arrest, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called an extraordinary meeting of the National Security Council.
