On Dec 11, Transnistria’s Central Electoral Commission made public the results of the presidential election.
The winner is Speaker of the Supreme Council (Parliament) of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky, who has polled 157,410 votes.
His rival, acting President of Transnistria Yevgeny Shevchuk has polled 69,179 votes.
Communist Oleg Horjan has polled 3.17%, former Chairman of the Supreme Court Vladimir Grigoryev 0.67%, internet blogger Irina Vasilachi 0.6%, prosecutor Alexander Deli 0.55% of the votes.
Some 8,593 Transnistrians or 3.5% of all voters have voted against all. The turnout was 59.16%. Observers have recorded no serious violations.
According to the results of the exit poll, Krasnoselsky has polled 69.8% of the votes.
