Pisants and Novoselovka have been liberated, a new tactical frontier has been occupied — the Russian Defense Ministry

Assault units of the 36th separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group broke through the echelon defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and completely liberated the settlement of Pisants in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Novoselovka in Zaporozhye. This was announced today, June 28, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Mechanized manpower and equipment, four airborne assault brigades, two assault brigades and three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Podgavrilovka, Krivobokovo, Romanki, Shirokoe, Velikomikhailovka, Dnipropetrovsk region, Malinovka, Vasinovka and Lyubitskoye, Zaporozhye region. The enemy lost over 490 servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, six vehicles and four field artillery guns.

Units of the group of forces "Dnepr" defeated the formations of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka and Orekhov Zaporozhye region. Up to 40 enemy servicemen, 14 vehicles and an electronic warfare station were destroyed.

"The liberation of Pisants allowed the units of the Vostok grouping to occupy a tactically important frontier, which significantly disrupted the stability of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and created direct conditions for further confident advance of troops and expansion of the control zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region," the release said.
