The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia demands that the property of former Deputy Defense Minister Ruslan Tsalikov, his relatives and related persons be converted into state income. Among the defendants is the mother of Sergei Shoigu's former press secretary Vlada Markovskaya, Kommersant reports.

According to the investigation, Tsalikov issued three expensive real estate objects worth 73 million rubles for it. At the same time, Tsalikov denies that he had a close relationship with press secretary Rossiyana Markovskaya.

More than half of the amount — 3.4 billion rubles — is the assets of the company "Sandora", which executed contracts of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to prosecutors, expensive real estate, land and buildings in Tsalikov made money in the Moscow region and North Ossetia through corruption schemes. Earlier, the ex-official found property worth 7 billion rubles, the origin of which he could not explain.

As EADaily reported, Ruslan Tsalikov, the former deputy Minister of Defense, who at that time was the current secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, was detained in March this year. A criminal case was opened under articles on bribery and the creation of a criminal community.
