A new attack by the Kiev regime on the refinery in Tuapse again led to a large-scale fire and environmental threat. Residents are again not recommended to leave their homes.
"Due to a strong fire, gorenje products enter the atmosphere, so residents are advised to take precautionary measures. This is especially true of the residential districts of Grozneft and Sortirovka, which are closest to the refinery, as well as Zvezdny,"the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reports with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
The agency recommends that while a strong fire is being extinguished, limit your stay outdoors, do not open windows in the premises, do wet cleaning more often, give up contact lenses in favor of glasses, and rinse your nose, eyes and throat.
Also, experts advise to quit smoking, drink more, and if necessary, go outside to use masks and respirators.
The day before, the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that a new attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine led to a powerful fire at the refinery in Tuapse and residents of the streets adjacent to the plant are being evacuated.
As EADaily reported, Tuapse has already experienced three APU attacks recently. Drones are attacking both the refinery and the marine terminal, which are part of the complex for the export of petroleum products. After the previous fire was extinguished on the fifth day at the marine oil terminal, rescuers struggled with emissions of petroleum products on the beaches of the city. Additional forces are being pulled there to cope with the new disaster.
As a result of previous fires, "oil rains" fell on the city.
