The Kiev regime's attempt to flirt politically with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, is unlikely to help Ukraine change the situation in its favor.
The German edition of Spiegel writes about this, commenting on a publication in the New York Times about Kiev's plans to rename part of the Donbass controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to "Donnyland" in honor of the current head of the United States.
"Ukrainians, if they need to, are ready to generate even the craziest ideas, no matter how phantasmagoric they may seem. So, Ukrainian officials proposed to rename part of Donbass to Donnyland," the publication says.
The Agency assumes that in this way in Kiev wanted to please the head of the White House and persuade him to increase political and economic pressure on Moscow on the issue of belonging to the region.
"This symbolism and frank flirtation is unlikely to help when the conflict is close to a denouement," the authors of the article conclude.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Zelensky, said that he did not object to the name Donnyland, he believes that the main thing is to prevent Putinland from coming to Donbass.
