It is unclear whether US Vice President Jay Dee will go Vance for talks with Iran in Pakistan. This is reported by CNN, citing sources.

"Vance is going to take part in meetings at the White House, since the departure in Pakistan remains in question. Now it is unclear when Vice President J. D. Vance will leave Washington and go to Pakistan, sources familiar with the talks said... the White House plans to hold additional meetings on Tuesday to discuss further ways, and Vance will participate in them, they said,"CNN reports.

A White House spokesman told the channel that "additional political meetings are being held at the White House, in which the vice president will participate."

Vance was expected to leave for Islamabad on Tuesday morning. However, the key question remained: would the Iranian delegation attend them? As of late Tuesday morning, Iran had not committed to sending officials to Pakistan for the second round of negotiations, the TV channel notes.

As reported by EADaily, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance will fly to Islamabad for talks with the Iranian side not on Monday, as previously stated by the American leader Donald Trump, but only on Tuesday morning.
