The singer and deputy of the Moscow City Duma announced the loss of a number of friends after the start of SMO

Musician and producer, as well as deputy of the Moscow City Duma Rodion Gazmanov ("United Russia") interrupted communication with those who left Russia after the start of a special military operation by friends. He told the portal about this News.ru .

"With the beginning of SMO, all the husks flew off us. People, especially public ones, have shown who they really are," he said.

According to Gazmanov Jr., he lost several friends.

"They left our country, harshly criticize those who stayed here. I didn't even think that there are people who can hate fiercely just for not following their example. It's good that they showed themselves now," the artist is sure.

He added that he and his team go to military hospitals and to the front line.

"When during our trips there were rocket arrivals nearby, I became scared. Nevertheless, my whole team continues these trips with a sense of responsibility," Gazmanov concluded.

As EADaily reported, in early April 2024, Gazmanov took part in the primaries of United Russia for further nomination as a candidate for deputy of the Moscow City Duma.

The press service of the party noted that "Rodion is non-partisan, but from the very beginning of the special military operation he has been participating in the humanitarian mission of the United Russia party on an ongoing basis."

In September of the same year, the singer was elected a deputy of the Moscow City Duma in the single-mandate constituency No. 39.
