Brussels does not know where the EC representatives sent to inspect Druzhba in mid-March are now. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the European Commission Anna-Kaisa Itkonen.
So she answered the relevant question.
"Such a small team was present at Ukraine after a letter from EU leaders (to the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir) Zelensky about the readiness to conduct such a mission. But I have no information about their current whereabouts," Itkonen said, quoted by the newspaper Politika.
It should be recalled that representatives of the EC arrived in Kiev to assess the condition of the Druzhba oil pipeline on March 18, but did not get access to the facility.
As reported by EADaily, Kiev's decision to suspend the inspection of the Druzhba oil pipeline is considered "mysterious" in the European Union. This was reported by the Euractiv portal with reference to its diplomatic sources.
According to Euractiv, a number of representatives The EU called Kiev's attempts to impede the inspection of the pipeline "unreasonable," "incomprehensible," and "mysterious." At the same time, European diplomats believe that "all parties will benefit from unblocking Friendship."
