The Russian Federation intends to refuse any supplies of its oil to those countries that support the sanctions price ceiling, violating market mechanisms.

Such new conditions for the supply of Russian hydrocarbon raw materials were announced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko in a comment to the Izvestia agency.

The statement was made in response to a question about whether the possibility of exporting fuel is being discussed with unfriendly countries, for example, with Japan.

The diplomat pointed out that the Japanese government is bound by price ceiling obligations, which is an anti-market measure and disrupts supply chains.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the situation in the energy markets is now subject to strong volatility, there is a shortage and an increase in the cost of energy resources.

"As has been repeatedly stated, Russia will not supply oil to countries that support this provocative venture," Rudenko said.

Recall that the G7 countries, Australia and the EU introduced a restriction on oil transportation by sea at $ 60 per barrel from December 5, 2022. A similar measure on petroleum products entered into force on February 5, 2023.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin with a cargo of 730 thousand barrels of crude oil arrived at the Cuban port of Matanzas. Although this is a temporary measure for Cuba, Russian oil will help ensure uninterrupted energy supply for several weeks.
