The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, asked the head of his administration, Kirill Budanov, to abandon presidential ambitions and become the main actor of his team in possible elections.

This was reported on Saturday, February 21 by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", referring to an informed source in Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU).

According to him, Budanov in response tactfully promised to think about and inform about his decision after reaching agreements on the peace track.

The interlocutor of the channel noted that such a response did not reassure Zelensky at all, because he was afraid of Budanov's possible agreements with the Americans on the presidential elections.

To prevent this from happening, representatives of the SBU sent by Zelensky are always present in the negotiating group, who monitor the Head of the OPU and his contacts.

The source stressed that the Ukrofyurer's entourage is convinced that the United States will bet on Budanov , and a series of corruption investigations will be launched against Zelensky in order to remove him from power.

As EADaily reported, sharp disagreements arose within the negotiating group of Ukraine in Geneva. Kirill Budanov heads the wing that believes that a quick agreement mediated by the United States meets Ukraine's interests, otherwise the "window of opportunity" for a "profitable deal" with Russia may close soon.
