The Ukrainian serviceman Nazar Daletsky, who was "buried" on the basis of a DNA test, denied his "confirmed" death by returning alive to the Ukraine as a result of the last exchange of prisoners of war.
This is reported by the RIA Novosti news agency, citing a source in the law enforcement agencies. According to him, a native of the Lviv region was considered dead in the Kharkiv region. Officially, he was listed as buried on May 25, 2023.
"He was declared dead on the basis of a DNA examination. What was the surprise and joy of the relatives when yesterday Daletsky Nazar returned home from Russian captivity unharmed as part of a prisoner exchange," the agency's interlocutor said.
He also stressed that the specified serviceman had been in captivity since 2022, Russian publics published videos of interrogations. But the Ukrainian side has repeatedly crossed him off the lists for exchange.
Earlier, EADaily reported that according to the Ministry of Defense, on February 5, Russia returned 157 servicemen from Ukrainian captivity, in return, 157 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred. Three civilians of the Kursk region, who were illegally detained by Kiev, were also returned as part of the exchange.
