Russia has never changed its demands, unlike many other participants in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated in an interview with RT by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
According to him, if the Ukrainian delegation went to talks in Abu Dhabi with the proposals that the NATO Secretary General spoke about the day before in the Verkhovna Rada, then the Kiev regime does not need peace.
"The President (Russian Federation Vladimir) Putin said that we are interested in a diplomatic settlement. We have never changed our demands, unlike many other participants in this political process. They moved the goal posts many times. I do not know what our delegation in Abu Dhabi will be offered. I spoke with them yesterday about this idea of security guarantees, which Mark Rutte spoke about yesterday in the Rada, in Kiev. And if the Ukrainians went to Abu Dhabi with this, I think this is just an additional reason to believe that (the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir) Zelensky does not need peace," Lavrov said.
As reported by EADaily, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte came to Kiev on the eve of the talks in Abu Dhabi to prepare the basis from which Ukraine will speak - no positive progress in resolving the crisis in this country. This was pointed out by the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin.
Recall, the Verkhovna Rada arranged a "warm bath" with sighs to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, which once again demonstrated the deplorable state of the Ukrainian parliament. This was stated in her telegram channel by deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
