If the US pressure strategy against Venezuela does not work, the continent will face chaos. This was stated in the social network by economist Philip Pilkington.
"The United States is now pursuing a strategy of pressure. But if it doesn't work, Venezuela will collapse, and the consequences of the collapse of a medium-sized state in Latin America will make themselves felt. In such a scenario, chaos may arise on the continent on a much larger scale than in Europe," Pilkington writes, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The crisis in Venezuela "may lead to a series of collapses of other political regimes — from Colombia to Mexico," the expert believes.
As reported by EADaily, Venezuela will be governed by the people of US President Donald Trump. He stated this at a briefing at Mar-a-Lago.
Recall, on the eve of the morning, the United States attacked Venezuela. Missile strikes hit military bases, airfields, ports and other strategic facilities. President Donald Trump said that US special forces captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife and took them out of the country.
