"Today, around 13.00, residents of the Lazarevsky district felt seismic activity. To us in EDDS received calls from residents of Magri, Lazarevsky, Loo. We are waiting for confirmation from the Central Seismological Observatory in Obninsk about the strength of the tremors, now they have subsided. There are no injured people or infrastructure damage. Keep calm," wrote the mayor of Sochi Andrei Proshunin in the telegram channel.
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences", the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Black Sea, approximately 5 kilometers from the coast of Sochi.
