The Volna Dome Garant electronic warfare complex, created to counter the Starlink satellite network, has received an updated version. The new solution has become more compact. The details were reported by the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle".

According to the source, this "shield from Starlink" already covers almost all key objects of the Crimea, and is also used to protect frontline areas. And one such complex controls an area of about 25 square kilometers.

The previous modification, which became known this summer, relied on six large trailers placed side by side. The new configuration allows for the dispersion of elements, when individual antennas can be mounted on small car trailers with generators that provide autonomous operation.

EADaily reminds that in August, a TASS source reported on the adjustment in Russia serial production "Wave Dome Garant". The system emits a directional radio signal that blinds the receiving antennas of Starlink satellites and prevents the maintenance of ground terminals.
