Colombian President confirms US attack on Venezuela. He demands the convening of the UN Security Council.
"At the moment, Caracas is being bombed. Attention everyone, Venezuela has been attacked. They are being bombed with missiles," says Colombian President Gustavo Petro's Facebook page.
He called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council.
As EADaily reported, explosions sounded in the Venezuelan capital and videos of dozens of unknown military helicopters flying over Caracas, including military transport ones, appeared on social networks. The US could launch an invasion.
It is reported that strikes are being carried out on military bases and the airport.
