A 12-year-old killer who shot the wrong person for £20 thousand has been arrested in Sweden. It is reported by the British newspaper Daily Star.
"A boy is accused of killing a 21-year-old man by shooting from a car in Malmo, Sweden, last Friday. Local media report that the child shot at the wrong target, he should have hit another person in the car," the newspaper writes.
According to police, the victim was shot when he was driving an Audi with friends, late at night. Law enforcement officers who arrived on call found the victim in the back seat of the car. The man was rushed to the hospital, but soon he was pronounced dead.
According to the Sydsvenskan newspaper, as a result of the investigation, a 12-year-old boy became the main suspect, on Tuesday he was taken into custody. The child does not live in Malmo, he came to the city specifically to fulfill the order. According to Expressen, he received several murder orders, while for the murder in Malmo he was paid 250 thousand Swedish kronor (£ 20 thousand).
It is noted that since the suspect is not an adult, he was taken into custody and received legal assistance — in Sweden, children under the age of 15 cannot be imprisoned.
As it turned out in court, the boy from the age of 7 lived with his grandmother by decision of social services.
In October, a 14-year-old boy was detained on suspicion of attempted murder after six people were injured in the Swedish town of Yevl.
