The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, answered the question why Ukrainian UAVs reach Chechnya during a live broadcast on December 14.
"Pantsir does not always intercept them — they fly very low, go in different directions. We see them already when they fly in directly, and in such cases we shoot them down with the use of small arms. In general, there is a "Shell", all objects are closed, their main paths are blocked. And yet I will say: Russia at the beginning of the war was much weaker than it is today. Now production has improved, military tactics have changed, and people perceive it differently — many voluntarily go to fight against these devils. Only those who manage to enter by detours reach. At the same time, danger is announced every day and every night: people are sleeping, and we are waiting until morning to find out where and where the arrival may be. Our guys are on guard there and here, guarding the peace of the population. We will do everything to prevent them from flying into Russia, in particular, to the Chechen Republic," the head of Chechnya said.
He noted that there were no casualties.
"There are no casualties, there are no fatalities. There are only minor wounds — scratches. The most important thing is without sacrifice. The building (damaged UAV building of the Grozny-City complex. — EADaily) we have restored," Kadyrov concluded.
