Last year, the now former head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, rejected an offer to develop contact with the son-in-law of the US President, Jared Kushner, who today is one of the negotiators for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
According to Kuleba, it was he who made this offer to Yermak.
As the former foreign minister said, in the spring of 2024, he met Kushner at one of the events, exchanged contacts with him, and then came to Kiev with a proposal. However, Yermak replied that Kushner was "not involved, that there was no need to bet on him," and said that it was necessary to build communication with Donald Trump's team through former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, listened to Yermak's position, Kuleba noted.
"And now Kushner is sitting in the same row at the negotiating table with Witkoff and Marco Rubio," he stressed.
As reported by EADaily, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov led the high-level peace talks of the Ukrainian team with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and President's son-in-law Jared Kushner in Florida last Sunday. The former defense minister called the talks "fruitful and successful," but Rubio noted that "there is still a lot of work to be done."
