President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of Honored Artists of Russia to spouses Ekaterina and Alexander Strizhenov. The relevant document has been published on the official portal of legal acts.
"To confer honorary titles: "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation" Strizhenova Ekaterina Vladimirovna — actress, presenter of the programs of the First Channel joint—stock company, Strizhenov Alexander Olegovich — director, screenwriter, producer, TV presenter," the text of the decree says.
Ekaterina Strizhenova was born on March 20, 1968 in Moscow. Graduated from the directing department of the Moscow Institute of Culture. He plays in the Theater of the Russian Army and the Gorky Moscow Art Theater, hosts the program "Good Morning" on Channel One.
Alexander Strizhenov was born on June 6, 1969 in Moscow, in the family of People's Artist of the USSR Oleg Strizhenov. He took part in the work on almost 40 films and TV series, from January 1997 to August 2005, together with his wife, he hosted the Good Morning program, and later was the host of several programs on the Zvezda TV channel.
