The Minister of Culture of Lithuania Ignotas Adomavicius has resigned. This was reported today, October 3, by the Lithuanian media.
It is alleged that Adomavicius, having taken the oath in the Seimas on September 25, is leaving the post today "at the insistence of Prime Minister Inga Ruginene."
Recall, the persecution of the head of the Ministry of Culture began immediately after the appointment of the president of the country Gitanas Nauseda, including because of his affiliation to the party "Dawn of Nemunas". In addition, the day before he refused to answer the journalist's question about the ownership of Crimea. According to him, "there is a line that should not be crossed."
