Anna Kontula, a member of the Finnish Parliament, has been working as an escort since the age of 16. The newspaper Helsingin Sanomat writes about this.
According to the politician, she did it in search of adventure and because of financial difficulties.
Kontula admitted that she found clients through ads in newspapers. She led a similar lifestyle for about two years, then got married, but after the divorce she returned "to the panel." By the way, the politician has a doctorate in social sciences, her dissertation is devoted to the problems of sex workers in Finland.
Kontula has been a member of the Finnish Parliament since 2011. The current term will be the last.
