Apparently, the Azerbaijani MiG-29 appeared in the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the online magazine The War Zone (TWZ).
"There is evidence that Ukraine has replenished its fleet of MiG-29 fighters from a somewhat unexpected source — Azerbaijan. Despite the fact that the number of aircraft involved is insignificant, any replenishment of the MiG-29 fleet will be welcome for the Ukrainian Air Force, which also received Fulcrum ("Fulcrum" — MiG-29 according to NATO classification. — EADaily) donated by Poland and Slovakia, and which are constantly declining," the publication says.
The publication published a photo, which, as noted, recently began to spread on social networks. The picture shows a single-seat MiG-29 of the Ukrainian Air Force in the characteristic camouflage coloring used by Azerbaijan — a combination of blue, gray and purple-gray colors. "While it remains possible that the photo was falsified, there is currently nothing to indicate that it is not genuine," the magazine notes.
