Indian Nayara Energy, co-owned by Rosneft, is faced with the problem of delivering fuel even to its stations. It is reported by Reuters.
"Sanctioned The EU Nayara is having difficulty attracting ships to deliver refined fuel to its retail stations in India. A private oil refining company has already reduced the volume of transshipment of crude oil at its refinery," the agency reports, citing sources.
According to them, Nayara Energy has asked for help from the Ministry of Shipping of India to attract vessels.
"Nayara faced demands from carriers to terminate contracts, and Microsoft briefly suspended the provision of critical services. The Ministries of Shipping, Oil and Foreign Affairs will hold a meeting in the near future to consider Nayara's request," Reuters continues.
Delhi is considering the option of providing Indian-flagged vessels to private refineries.
