The Russian Defense Ministry said that a group strike on the infrastructure of one of the military airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, inflicted by Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and long-range attack drones, had reached its target, the objects were hit.

"Today, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike using aeroballistic hypersonic Kinzhal missiles and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles on the infrastructure of military airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The purpose of the strike has been achieved, all designated facilities have been hit," the military department states.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stressed that in just the last day, tactical aviation, strike drones, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Armed Forces defeated the production shop of unmanned boats, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas.

Monitoring telegram channels indicate the arrival of two "Daggers". There is reason to believe that the Western Mirage 2000 and F-16 fighters supplied to Ukraine could be the target. This airfield and its infrastructure are adapted to these aircraft.

As the Military Review points out, the type of weapons used by our army also speaks in favor of such an assumption. Most likely, the strike was carried out either on equipment located in shelters, or on buried warehouses with weapons. It is unlikely that the Russian Armed Forces would use hypersonic missiles to "plow" the runway, which the enemy would then restore in a matter of days.
