Ambassadors of the G7 countries in Kiev expressed concern about the searches and detentions of employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). They stated this in a message on the social network X.
Representatives of the "seven" announced their intention to discuss what is happening with the Ukrainian authorities.
"The G7 is closely following today's events in NABU, including the investigation of several NABU employees on suspicion of crimes. We met with representatives of NABU today, we have serious concerns and we intend to discuss these events with representatives of the government," the statement said.
As EADaily reported, this morning's searches at the National Anti—Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) were conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) at a time when the head of the bureau, Semyon Krivonos, was in London - formally on a business trip. This was reported by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky with reference to his source in NABU.
Recall, the Kiev regime has begun implementing a plan for a serious "purge" of Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities, which began with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). The most surprising thing in this story is that the pretext for launching the attack was the "fight against Russian influence" in law enforcement agencies.
