According to preliminary data, at least 10 people were killed and about a dozen were seriously injured at a school in the Austrian city of Graz. The number of victims may increase. The police reported that the perpetrator of the crime committed suicide.
According to the Austrian portal "OE24", among the victims are four fifth—grade students and three eighth-grade students. "Austrian Radio" clarifies that the perpetrator is a student of this school. The police reported that the shooter was dead. He allegedly committed suicide in the school toilet. Earlier, he opened fire in two classrooms. Allegedly, he considered himself a victim of bullying.
A special police unit "Cobra" was sent to the scene of the incident. Chancellor Christian Stoecker and Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner went to the scene.
