What scared Kiev so much, which refused to pick up in a timely manner, in accordance with the Istanbul agreements, the bodies of the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen killed in the area of the special military operation, there is still no clear answer. This was stated by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.

"What scares Kiev more, for what reason they refuse to fulfill their obligations or, at least, while delaying the fulfillment of their obligations, we cannot get any clear explanations yet," he said on the Rossiya—24 TV channel, commenting on Ukraine's refusal to take the bodies of the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen.

The diplomat also stressed that there are now "certain communication channels through which Ukraine could notify or transmit data when, how and in what form they are ready to implement" the agreements.

"Therefore, the situation here is quite transparent. But the more Kiev delays, the more it will put a burden on the Ukrainian side," Miroshnik said, quoted by TASS.

Earlier, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks with Kiev, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, said that "the Russian side, in exact accordance with the Istanbul agreements on June 6, began implementing a humanitarian action to transfer to Ukraine more than 6 thousand bodies of dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the exchange of wounded and seriously ill prisoners of war and prisoners of war under 25 years of age." However, Medinsky noted, the Ukrainian side unexpectedly postponed for an indefinite period both the acceptance of bodies and the exchange of prisoners of war.
