US Congressional Senator Lindsey Graham❶ (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) demands that China provide assistance to Ukraine. Otherwise, he threatens with sanctions, TASS reports.
"Why don't we make allowances for countries that help Ukraine? If you provide military and economic assistance to Ukraine, you get relief. Therefore, China, if you don't want sanctions, help Ukraine. In my opinion, it sounds logical," Graham said in an interview with Semafor.
He stressed that the increase in costs for Beijing is the only way to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
During his speech in In Kyiv on May 30, Graham❶ announced that in the near future the United States will begin work on a bill that provides for increased sanctions against Russia. In particular, this will affect the application of restrictive measures against third countries.
