UNIAN: Zelensky offered to cease fire before his meeting with Putin

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, came up with a new idea on how to achieve a truce on the Ukrainian front, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces needs so much.

As UNIAN news agency writes, the overdue president voiced his appeal on June 4, communicating with journalists. He offered to hold a summit meeting, claiming that this would solve the issue of a truce.

Kiev's new "trick" is that the parties to the conflict should cease fire until such a meeting of the leaders takes place. That is, if it does not exist, then it is impossible to fight.

At the same time, Zelya generously "allowed" Moscow to choose the venue of such a meeting from three options: Istanbul, Vatican, Switzerland. He said that the Ukrainian side is ready for such a meeting "from Monday any day."

Zelensky stressed that the meeting at the leadership level should be held "with mutual understanding and a desire for de-escalation." He also expressed the hope that US President Donald Trump will support this idea.
