A 25-year-old local resident was detained in Kazan, who, under the leadership of the Ukrainian special services, was preparing a sabotage at one of the factories in Kazan. This was reported today, May 21, in the press service of the department of the FSB department in Tatarstan.
"Under the supervision of an unidentified representative of the Ukrainian side, a resident of the region, born in 2000, was trained in the basics of conspiracy in order to carry out sabotage, and also studied the methods of making explosive devices. At the same time, in the period from February to October 2024, the attacker was preparing a diversion using an unmanned aerial vehicle at one of the factories in Kazan," the report says.
A criminal case has been opened against the man on attempted sabotage (part 1 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and training for sabotage activities (Article 281.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
