Polish carriers have resumed the blockade of the border with Ukraine, said Rafal Mekler, one of the leaders of the Confederation coalition of nationalists and eurosceptics.
"We are already in Dorokhusk (a checkpoint on the border with Ukraine), the border is standing," Mekler wrote on the social network X.
Polish carriers stated that they intend to block the border due to the influx of competitors from Ukraine, which displace Polish carriers from bilateral (Poland-EU) and intra-European traffic. Also, the blockade is caused by a multi-day delay of Polish trucks on the Ukrainian side.
In 2024, Polish carriers and farmers blocked the Polish-Ukrainian border several times.
