An unconscious pregnant refugee was found on the Belarusian border with Latvia. This was reported today, May 5, in The State Border Committee of Belarus.
"On the afternoon of May 4, Belarusian border guards found a foreigner near the Latvian border fence in the Braslav district. A girl of African appearance was lying unconscious on the ground. The refugee had a hematoma on her face. Documents and mobile phone were missing. The servicemen gave her first aid and called an ambulance. Doctors took the girl to Braslav CRH. The examination showed that the foreigner had bilateral pneumonia and severe sepsis. In addition, it was established that the refugee is in the 28th week of pregnancy, " the report says.
It is noted that the foreigner is provided with the necessary assistance, and her citizenship is established.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began in 2021. Poland and the Baltic republics refuse to host refugees from the Belarusian side. The actions of the security forces of these countries have already caused the death of 68 people.
