Germany has already exhausted its notional amount of natural resources for 2025. This is evidenced by the calculations of the environmental organization Global Footprint Network, according to the telegram channel "DW * main".

The organization drew attention to the wasteful attitude of Germany to resources and the insufficient speed of their renewal.

"Germany as a whole is considered one of the most resource-wasting countries in Europe in the Global Footprint Network ranking. The country consumes resources three times faster than they recover," writes TK.

Most of the natural resources are destroyed by high energy consumption, the use of private cars, industrial animal husbandry and construction, the BUND environmental organization notes.
