"At the initiative of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have terminated Russian citizenship to a resident of the Lipetsk region, a native of one of the republics of the Central Asian region," the report says.
It is noted that the foreigner acquired Russian citizenship in March 2024 as having a child who is a citizen of the Russian Federation. In September 2024, he, among others, initiated a conflict on ethnic grounds with the residents of Lipetsk.
"As a result of a verbal altercation, he expressed the superiority of Islam over other religions, publicly insulted Russian citizens with obscene language, demonstrated a cold weapon (knife) and threatened physical violence," the FSB noted.
In the course of joint operational search activities by the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the conflict participant was detained and brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism expressing obvious disrespect for society, accompanied by obscene language in public places, offensive harassment of citizens), he was given administrative arrest for 7 days.
After the deprivation of citizenship, the foreigner is deported to his homeland.
"By the decision of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Lipetsk region, he was denied entry to Russia for a period of 50 years," the FSB said.
