The defense of the village of Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR is coming to its logical conclusion. This was stated by Ukrainian military expert Konstantin Mashovets.
Liberation by the Russian army of the settlements of Neskuchnoye and Vremevka "made the further successful retention of Velikaya Novoselka in the conditions of its almost three-way coverage, if not impossible, then clearly very, very unlikely," the expert said.
"Moreover, it is obvious that even if a decision is made to withdraw from Velikaya Novoselka, it will be very difficult to do it successfully," Mashovets added.
As EADaily reported, the Russian army has about two kilometers left before the complete encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in the village of Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR. This was stated by the head of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the integration of new regions Vladimir Rogov.
