The Ministry of Defense confirmed a group strike on targets in Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed another group strike on military facilities on the territory of Ukraine.

The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, January 18 by the press service of the military department on its official resources. It says that the strike was carried out in response to rocket attacks on Russian territory by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"This morning, in response to the shelling by ATACMS operational-tactical missiles manufactured by the United States of civilian infrastructure in the Belgorod region, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with precision weapons on the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine," the report says.

It is specified that, among other things, the Luch design bureau, which carries out the design and production of long-range guided missiles "Neptune" and rockets for the multiple launch rocket system "Alder", was hit.

The targets of the strike have been achieved, all objects have been hit. The Ministry of Defense stressed that the purpose of the strike has been achieved. All the intended objects are hit.

It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The defense ministry said that as a result, the infrastructure of military airfields, the production and assembly shop of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as enemy manpower and equipment in 156 districts were damaged.

Earlier, EADaily reported that according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kiev, an administrative building was partially destroyed against the background of an air alert, and the main water supply was damaged.
