The Syrian military is leaving the center of Damascus, and the central television buildings are allegedly occupied by outsiders, according to Al Jazeera.
"Sources report that the armed Syrian opposition has entered Damascus and against this background the (government) army is withdrawing its forces from the capital," the report said.
According to the TV channel, there are outsiders in the building of the Syrian central television in Damascus, allegedly "opposition forces," and their supporters, meanwhile, gather in the central Umayyad Square in the Syrian capital.
The Syrian radio station Sham FM reports that explosions are heard in Damascus. Earlier, AFP reported shots fired in the city. According to Sham FM, Damascus International Airport has completely stopped working.
